I need a signature cocktail...?

Question: I need a signature cocktail...?

(Posted by: Rochelle on 2010-07-18 18:02:40)

I am planning a bachelorette party and I want to make a "signature cocktail ". The bride to be loves the color pink, so I am trying to find one that's pink. Thanks!!

You could go all "Sex and the City " and serve Cosmo's

My favorite wine spritzer is cranberry juice, sprite & white wine, it's pink & refreshing! A fun twist that is easy for a hostess would be to use strawberry juice with the sprite & white wine, add sherbet & fresh strawberries, yummy, put it in a punch bowl. Pink Champagne in a fountain would be fun!!! I love to host parties and enjoy my guests, so I am not big on mixing drinks.

You could make Strawberry Limeade Martinis. 2 ounce of straw vodka (preferably Stoli) 1 Ounce of Sprite 1/ 4 Lime Juice Splash of Grenadine to make it pink CHILLL!!!!! If not fizzy enough for the liking, can add more sprite.

The first drink that came to mind when I read your question was a "Pink Lady ". The Pink Lady is a classic cocktail that has a light blush color contributed by the dashes of grenadine. It was one of the first "girly drinks " and a favorite of the high society ladies of the 30's. The key to this drink (and any shaken with egg) is to shake it longer than you would with most cocktails to ensure that everything is mixed well. The egg also makes a great foamy top of the pink liquid, creating an intimate looking finished cocktail. Ingredients: 1 1/ 2 oz gin 3/ 4 oz applejack 1/ 4 oz lemon juice 1-2 dashes grenadine 1 egg white maraschino cherry for garnish Preparation: Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry

"Flirtini " It's a light pink color and is simple and fruity :) 1 1/ 2 oz Razberry Stoli 1/ 2 oz of Cointreau or Triple Sec Pineapple juice and a splash of cranberry Top with a splash of champagne (optional, but does give it a kick) optional garnishes- Lemon twist or a cherry

At my bar we have a drink called a PUCKER FUCKER. In a Martini Shaker add ICE with: 2 Part Watermelon PUCKER 2 Part your preferred VODKA Shake all ingredients and strain into a Frosted/ Chilled Martini Glass. (Opt. Rim the Glass with Sugar)
